Bridging Innovation and Circularity in Europe’s Permanent Magnet Value Chain

On 19 May 2026, PERMANET will take part in the event “Bridging Circular Value Chains for Permanent Magnets”, hosted at the Slovenian Business & Research Association (SBRA) in Brussels.

This event will bring together key European stakeholders across the rare earth elements and permanent magnet value chain — including EU institutions, industry leaders, research organisations, and EU-funded projects — to foster dialogue on circularity, resilience, and interregional cooperation in the context of Critical Raw Materials.

The programme will feature:

• Keynote presentations addressing EU strategic priorities on critical raw materials and industrial resilience
• Project presentations, including contributions from SICAPERMA, PERMANET, REMHub and other initiatives
• A panel discussion exploring challenges and opportunities in developing circular permanent magnet value chains
• A dedicated capacity-building workshop focused on dismantling and pre-processing of magnet-containing products

The event is strategically organised back-to-back with the EIT Raw Materials Summit (20–21 May), offering participants extended opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and visibility at the European level.
